Last night, in The Game Awards, Sonic Fox ended his speech by saying, I’m black, I’m Gay, and I’m a furry, everything a Republican hates. Instead of focusing on what unites us, games, he went on the attack of people he doesn’t like.
As a right-winged game developer, I laugh. I don’t need to be anything like that to be special. I’m just an ordinary guy. Like Brett Kavanaugh, I like beer. No, I haven’t been to any High-School Rape parties that Julie Swetnick has described.
Most of all, I am a gamer. I like video games, sitting down with a great story with interesting characters and challenging gameplay.
I just an ordinary guy, white, cis-gendered, heterosexual male, not that any of these really define my experience at all. I am everything that the Left hates. I am not afraid to be offensive and controversial. I will not be quiet and check my privilege.
